Terms & Conditions

• Guest Identity — The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old. Valid government-issued photo identification (Passport, Voter ID, or Citizenship Card) is mandatory for all guests upon check-in.

• Confirmation — Your booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email with a valid booking reference number.

• Right of Refusal — We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel bookings, or deny entry to our premises at our sole discretion, particularly if guests violate our hotel policies or behave disruptively.

• Check-in Time — 12:00 PM (Noon) onwards.

• Check-out Time — By 11:00 AM.

• Early Check-in / Late Check-out — Subject to room availability. Additional charges may apply. Please contact the front desk in advance to request these adjustments.

• Currency — All prices are quoted in Nepalese Rupees (NPR). For Indian guests, the exchange rate is fixed at 1 INR = 1.6 NPR.

• Taxes — Room rates are subject to applicable government taxes, which will be clearly outlined during the booking process or upon arrival.

• Payment Methods — We accept cash (NPR and INR notes of ₹100 or below, as per Nepal government regulations), major credit/debit cards, and digital wallets via Fonepay.

• Security Deposit — A security deposit or credit card pre-authorization may be required at check-in to cover incidental charges.

• Standard Cancellation — Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled check-in date will be fully refunded (excluding transaction fees).

• Late Cancellation — Cancellations made within 48 hours of check-in may incur a penalty charge equivalent to the first night's room rate.

• No-Shows — Failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice will result in the cancellation of the entire reservation, and no refunds will be issued.

• Smoking — Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms and enclosed public areas. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available. A deep-cleaning fee will be charged to guests found smoking in non-smoking rooms.

• Pets — While we love animals, pets are not allowed on the hotel premises to ensure the comfort of all our guests.

• Damage — Guests are liable for any damage or loss caused to the hotel property by themselves or their visitors. We reserve the right to charge the guest's credit card or demand cash payment for such damages.

• Visitors — Non-registered visitors are not permitted in guest rooms after 10:00 PM.

Hotel Ramayan shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your stay, the use of our website, or the inability to use our services, except where prohibited by Nepalese law. We are not responsible for the loss or theft of personal valuables; in-room safes are provided for your security.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Janakpur, Nepal.
